Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how NUMYL, LLC ("Numyl", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you visit the website at numyl.org (the "Site"). It is incorporated into our Terms of Service.

This Policy covers only this informational website. Numyl's software products (at app.numyl.com, billing.numyl.com, register.numyl.com, tenant.numyl.com, help.numyl.com, and elsewhere) have their own privacy notices. Please review those separately before using those products.

1. Who this applies to

The Site is directed to users in the United States, Canada, and other non-European jurisdictions. It is not intended for residents of the European Union or United Kingdom, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals in those regions. The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at legal@numyl.org and we will delete it.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

If you email us (for example, at hello@numyl.org or legal@numyl.org), we will receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use that information only to respond to you.

Information collected automatically

Our web server keeps routine server logs to operate and secure the Site. These logs contain standard information your browser or device sends when it makes a request, such as your IP address, the time of the request, the URL you requested, your HTTP referer, and your user-agent string. We use logs only for operational and security purposes.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the Site in aggregate (pages visited, approximate location by country/region, device and browser type). Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and collects your IP address, which Google anonymizes before storage. We use this information only to improve the Site. We do not enable Google Signals, Google Ads integration, or remarketing audiences, so Google does not use this information to target advertising to you on our behalf.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, by enabling your browser's "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control" setting, or by using a content blocker such as uBlock Origin.

Information we do not collect

We do not ask for, and the Site does not collect, payment information, government identifiers, location data, health information, or other categories of sensitive personal information.

3. How we use information

We use the limited information described above to:

  • respond to your inquiries;
  • operate, secure, and maintain the Site;
  • detect and respond to abuse, fraud, or unlawful activity;
  • comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not use it for advertising.

4. Who we share information with

We share information only as needed to operate the Site or when required by law. Specifically:

  • Hosting and infrastructure. The Site is served from infrastructure operated by Numyl on Microsoft Azure. Azure may process routine server logs in the course of providing its services.
  • Analytics. Google LLC acts as our service provider for Google Analytics and processes the data described in the "Cookies and analytics" section above.
  • Email service providers. Email you send us is processed by our mail provider so that we can receive and respond to it.
  • Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or a good-faith belief that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users or the public.

5. How long we keep information

Server logs are retained for a short period (typically no longer than 90 days) and then rotated out or deleted. Email correspondence is retained for as long as we need it to respond to you and for a reasonable follow-up period, and may then be archived or deleted in accordance with our normal records practices.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold, including TLS encryption for traffic to and from the Site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices

Your choices regarding information on this Site include:

  • Opt out of Google Analytics via the Opt-out Browser Add-on, a "Do Not Track" / "Global Privacy Control" browser setting, or a content blocker.
  • Not email us, or ask us at any time to delete or confirm the email correspondence we have from you by writing to legal@numyl.org.

8. U.S. state privacy rights

Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Virginia, and other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws may have specific rights regarding their personal information, such as the right to know what we collect, the right to request deletion, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising those rights. Because this Site collects very little information, we will honor requests under those laws to the extent they apply. To exercise a right, please email legal@numyl.org and include enough detail for us to locate and verify you as the subject of any information we hold.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

9. Canadian residents

If you are in Canada, our handling of your personal information is subject to PIPEDA and any applicable provincial privacy law. You may withdraw your consent to our use of your information by writing to legal@numyl.org, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer respond to your inquiry.

10. International transfers

Numyl is located in the United States and operates its infrastructure primarily in the United States. If you are outside the United States, please be aware that any information you provide will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Site or contacting us, you consent to that transfer.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after a change becomes effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
